Today in the Technology Journal of the wall street journal, one article caught my eye and it was about how Nintendo prepares for a portable 3- D device. The Nintendo company plans on selling this portable device without the gamer needing to wear 3 - D glasses to view the 3 - D effect. This new device is currently called the Nintendo 3DS. This device is potentially coming out during its coming fiscal year at the end of march 2011. Just about all 3 - D technology now requires batteries or color filtered glasses. According to Industry executives it could take up to 10 years for a glasses free television to be ready for the public.
I think that this is a pretty good idea that Nintendo has came up with. I know for sure that when i want to play a 3 - D game, i want to be able to play without wearing those annoying glasses. This is something that will absolutely make millions for Nintendo. Nintendo believes that video game fans would be more interested in paying for a device that's in 3 - D. Sooner or later a company would have come up with a product just like this. Technology is always advancing each day and it always will be. I believe its an advantage if your up on the current technology that's available to you.
